The future of York & Spoon

While I have decided to stop blogging, it is not the end of York & Spoon. I’ve been trying to prioritize the most effective way to reach people while balancing my sanity. I commend those with busier lives than me & children. With a full time job (that I love), 10 hours of commuting per week, caring for our miniature zoo of adopted fur babies at home, volunteering with 2 cat rescue organizations, working on an online plant-based culinary certification, training for a half marathon & trying to balance quality time with family & friends, I can’t focus enough on the blog & YouTube. I am greatly enjoying creating content for YouTube & have decided to focus my energies there. I will also maintain my facebook page www.facebook.com/yorkandspoon & Instagram & Twitter accounts @yorkandspoon. The blog felt like a chore hanging over my head, causing guilty feelings when I didn't post new content for months at a time & it’s time to simplify.

I will leave the page up until I can work with someone to create a static webpage to host my recipes & provide information on booking cooking classes or perhaps transition to a more customizable blog host. I love hearing that people are recreating my recipes at home. I hope a webpage will be an easier platform for people to search for & sift through recipe archives. I hope I am able to move my domain www.yorkandspoon.com with me.

Thank you to those who have supported me along the way & been readers of the blog. Make sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel to continue to see delicious, healthy, plant-based recipes on a fun new platform.
